We had the good fortune to meet Parker, along with a lot of other fine folks from Chattanooga, Tennessee, only days after Chizuko and I first arrived in Tono last summer at the event where Chattanooga and Tono were officially joined as sister cities. What is an ‘Americano’? Espresso, with hot water added, to approximate the strength of a cup of drip coffee. Note the layer delicious crema on top. A characteristic of espresso made with fresh-roasted, fresh-ground coffee beans.
We hosted our first private event today, for Tada-san, local entrepreneur, and his associates. We got to sample some of his products, varieties of desserts, and enjoyed lots of coffee.
