Tsuyoshi Sato came in today, was happy to see our Texas flag. Tsuyoshi-san lived and studied briefly in Ennis, Texas, when he was 19. More about Ennis here.As a boy, I lived very close to Ennis, in Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, until the end of grade school.

Ryuko-san, left, dropped by with Tono’s Tennessee friend Parker J. Allen, who’s visiting this week. We had the good fortune to meet Parker, along with a lot of other fine folks from Chattanooga, Tennessee, only days after Chizuko and I first arrived in Tono last summer at the event where Chattanooga and Tono were officially joined as sister cities.
